Le Havre attacker, Andre Ayew has charged his teammates to do everything possible to avoid losing its immediate upcoming games Stade Briochin and Olympique Marseille.
Le Havre have been struggling in the ongoing French Ligue 1 season. They sit 17th on the league log with 12 points after 15 matches.
They will hope to return to winning ways when they take Briochin in the Coupe de France (French Cup) Round of 64 stage on Saturday, December 21 before clashing with Marseille on January 5.
Speaking in a post-game interview after Le Havre lost 3-0 to Strasbourg over the weekend, Ayew charged his teammates to do everything possible to record wins in the upcoming games.
“It’s true that it is not easy but there is a match on Saturday which is important, it’s the Coupe de France and then there’s the Velodrome (against Marseille) and they are big matches and we’re going to try to do everything so as not to come out of these two matches with zero points.”
Le Havre has four wins and 11 losses in the league, conceding 18 goals in the process.
