King Promise has urged artistes to come together as a unit and stop seeing each other as competition
Newly crowned Artiste of the Year at 2025 TGMAs, King Promise, has called on fellow musicians to come together and support each other, rather than seeing one another as competition.
In an interview on Hitz FM, the “Paris” hitmaker said it’s important for Ghanaian artistes to move as a team if they truly want to promote “Ghana to the World.”
“What we can change as artistes is to come together. We can’t say ‘Ghana to the World’ and then move individually. That’s something I try not to do,” he said.
King Promise shared that he makes a conscious effort to collaborate and support other artistes in the industry. According to him, he has always been ready to work with anyone who reaches out.
“I try to involve and engage my brothers in the industry from time to time. I’ve pulled up for anybody who needed me, and I’ve collaborated with anyone who needed me,” he stated.
He also mentioned that even during his previous world tour, he made sure to include other Ghanaian artistes to help showcase their talent on international stages.
“Even on my last tour, I had Darkovibes with me. I’ve had Quamina MP with me before, and Olivetheboy as well. We have to find ways to collaborate with one another. That’s what our cousins in Nigeria do,” he added.
