277 and out? Liverpool’s Salah turns record breaker again

Earlier, Salah had said he felt “thrown under a bus” and had no relationship with coach Arne Slot after being left on the bench for Liverpool’s 3-3 draw against Leeds on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

It was the third successive game in which Salah had been excluded from the starting line-up amid a dip in form this season.

He was also dropped from the squad that beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League, with coach Arne Slot explaining it was part of measures to address the situation.

However, Salah returned to the squad for the Brighton game, receiving a hero’s welcome from the Anfield faithful.
