Akosua Serwaa, the first wife of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has made a notable return to Ghana after a period of staying in Germany.

She arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday, January 9, 2026, where an unusually large and energetic crowd had gathered to receive her. The scene quickly turned emotional and celebratory as supporters filled the arrival area, turning the airport into a moment of public tribute.

Exclusive video available to Zionfelix.net captured the scale of the reception, showing dozens of people packed tightly together as they waited for her arrival. Songs were sung in her honour, with chants of praise ringing through the terminal. Several supporters held up placards bearing messages that celebrated Akosua Serwaa and affirmed her place in Daddy Lumba’s life.

A significant number of the women present openly identified themselves as members of “Team Legal Wife,” a label that has become increasingly visible amid ongoing public discussions surrounding the late musician’s personal life and legacy.

Also present at the airport were familiar figures connected to Daddy Lumba, including Papa Shee and his sister, Ernestina Fosuh, popularly known as Akosua Brempongmaa, alongside other close associates and well-wishers.

The exact reason for Akosua Serwaa’s decision to return to Ghana at this time has not been publicly disclosed. Her arrival, however, comes weeks after she was unable to attend Daddy Lumba’s much-disputed funeral, which eventually took place on December 13, 2025. That absence fueled widespread speculation and debate, making her return all the more significant to observers and supporters who turned out to welcome her home.
