• Jack Draper contested two decisions to earn one point against Carlos Alcaraz
  • After two video reviews and much deliberation, Draper eventually got the point
  • The umpire tried to call the Brit for a double bounce and hindrance

Jack Draper contested two decisions by the umpire in his match against Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells semi-final with video review.

Draper chased down a ball from Alcaraz and won a point, only for the umpire to declare that he did not return the Spaniard’s shot in one bounce.

But after a video review proved the ball did not bounce twice, the umpire then wanted to replay the point, as he believed Alcaraz’s shot was hindered.

However, Draper contested this call and argued it should be his point, asking for a second video review.

He was awarded the point in the end, after the video review confirmed that Alcaraz’s shot was not hindered and that the Brit would’ve won the point regardless.
