Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has officially started his new chapter at Real Valladolid, participating in his first training session with the club after completing a loan move from Celta Vigo on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Aidoo had a successful four-year stint at Celta Vigo, where he made 138 appearances in La Liga and Copa del Rey, during which he scored four goals and provided two assists.

The 28-year-old joined his new teammates as they trained ahead of their La Liga game against Villarreal this Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Aidoo will be eager to rediscover his best form, having struggled for game time this season due to a long-term injury, featuring for just one minute since his return.

As Real Valladolid fights to avoid relegation, Joseph Aidoo’s wealth of experience and defensive prowess could prove to be a vital asset in their quest for survival.

In recognition of his contributions, Celta paid tribute to Aidoo expressing their gratitude and offering best wishes for his future endeavors.
