Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale and Priscilla
Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has sparked reactions from netizens after gifting GH₵ 20,000 to a young woman named Priscilla to support her education.
In a video shared on Instagram on November 28, 2024, Shatta Wale was seen speaking with broadcaster Hammer Nti when Priscilla approached him with a portrait of the dancehall artiste she had painted.
Impressed by the artwork, Shatta Wale struck up a conversation with Priscilla, during which she tearfully shared her story.
She revealed that she had recently completed her Senior High School (SHS) education in 2023 but was unable to afford university tuition.
Moved by her situation, Shatta Wale called Priscilla’s mother and offered GH₵ 20,000 to help her further her studies.
In another video, Shatta Wale, Sammy Flex, Priscilla, and her mother were seen in a room where the dancehall star presented Priscilla with a bundle of cash.
The gesture has since received positive reactions from social media users, many of whom have praised Shatta Wale for his generosity.
