Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola almost got into a physical altercation with a fan on the street following a defeat.

In a video that surfaced online, a fan taunted the Manchester City manager over the loss, provoking an uncharacteristic reaction from the Spaniard.

The fan was heard saying, “Cry, mate, just because you lost,” as Guardiola walked past.

The former Barcelona manager, upon hearing the comment, turned to confront the fan but was restrained by his security team.

At the moment, it remains unclear whether the incident occurred after Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

City had been on a terrible run, losing six out of seven games without a win. However, they ended the streak with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
