Ghana international Jordan Ayew’s name was on the lips of the fans after he climbed off the bench to inspire Leicester City to victory over Southampton in the English Premier League on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

The fans, who were enthusiastic about Jordan’s match-winning goal, could not hold their excitement after the game as they kept chanting his name for a while to show appreciation to the player.

In a video making the rounds on social media, a section of the fans could be heard singing, “Jordan Ayew Ole Ole, Jordan Ayew, Jordan Ayew olele olele” while jumping in joy.

Ayew delivered an outstanding performance on his return to club football following the Black Stars’ disappointing results in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The former Crystal Palace striker netted an injury-time goal as the Foxes staged an incredible comeback to beat Southampton 3-2 at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Cameron Archer and Joe Aribo gave the Saints a two-goal lead before the halftime break in the crucial encounter.

Putting on a stellar performance, the visitors staged a strong comeback to beat Southampton on their own turf and snatch the three maximum points in the game.
