A video of gospel musician Broda Sammy attempting to steal a kiss from his colleague Diana Asamoah has gone viral on social media.
This occurred during the launch of the Ghana Music Experience (GMX) App by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in Accra on October 30, 2024.
In the video, Broda Sammy was seen exchanging pleasantries with other attendees before approaching Diana, who was seated.
He leaned in to kiss her, but she quickly avoided his advances and left her seat.
The incident has since sparked a range of reactions among netizens, with some finding the development hilarious while others disapproved of Broda Sammy’s behaviour.
Meanwhile, the launch of the Ghana Music Experience (GMX) App was star-studded, attracting scores of Ghanaian celebrities from various fields to support the new initiative.
The streaming platform aims to promote Ghanaian music both locally and internationally while ensuring fair compensation for all stakeholders in the music value chain.
