Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo was instrumental in Bournemouth’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on August 30, 2025.

Despite the game being played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Black Stars forward delivered an impressive performance that earned him praise from both fans and pundits.

Semenyo consistently troubled the Spurs defense, taking on his markers and winning crucial set pieces for his side.

He played a key role in the build-up to Evanilson’s decisive goal, which proved to be the difference between the two sides.

In addition to his attacking contributions, Semenyo’s work rate in tracking back to support the defense under pressure was vital to Bournemouth’s victory.

Although several of his shots were either blocked or went wide, denying him a goal, his overall influence on the game was undeniable.

The striker has now scored two goals in three games in the 2025/2026 season.

Semenyo will now be looking to rediscover his scoring touch when Bournemouth host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
