    Ghana’s Black Damsels annihilated Malta U-16 in their opening game at the U-16 tournament on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali.

    The Black Damsels thrashed Malta 8-1 to kickstart the tournament with a comprehensive win over the hosts.

    A strong second-half performance saw the team scoring six goals and securing a huge win in their opening game.

    Following the win over Malta, the Damsels will face Ireland on matchday two on March 6, 2025.

    They will play their final game of the four-nation tournament on March 9, when they face Latvia.

    The UEFA Development Tournament, hosted in Malta, is intended to prepare the participating nations for their upcoming assignments in 2025.
