Barcelona and Inter Milan delivered a Champions League semi-final for the ages on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, finishing level at 3-3 in a pulsating contest filled with drama, brilliance, and six stunning goals.
Inter made a lightning start as Marcus Thuram scored just 30 seconds in with a deft flick, before Denzel Dumfries doubled the lead with an acrobatic finish, stunning the Camp Nou and threatening to derail Barcelona’s dreams of a historic quadruple.
But Lamine Yamal had other ideas. The teenage sensation sparked life into the hosts with a dazzling solo goal, weaving through defenders before finishing with composure far beyond his years.
Yamal nearly added a second after another mazy run, only for Yann Sommer to tip his audacious effort onto the bar.
Ferran Torres eventually brought Barça level, capitalising on Raphinha’s clever knockdown.
Inter hit back just after the hour mark, with Dumfries netting his second of the night to restore their lead.
But the Catalans responded yet again, this time through a thunderous 30-yard strike from Raphinha that ricocheted off the bar and in via Sommer.
There was late chaos as Henrikh Mkhitaryan thought he’d won it for Inter, only to be denied by the tightest of offside calls.
Yamal hit the bar once more, and Sommer denied Raphinha a dramatic winner with a fingertip save.
