Asante Kotoko continued their winning run in the Ghana Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Eleven Wonders at the University of Ghana Stadium on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

The Porcupine Warriors set the tone early, pressing high and dictating the tempo from the opening minutes.

Their positive start paid off in the 17th minute when Peter Amidu Acquah found the back of the net, calmly finishing to give Kotoko a deserved lead.

The goal boosted the visitors’ confidence as they settled into their rhythm and took control of the contest.

Kotoko dominated possession for much of the game, moving the ball with purpose and restricting Eleven Wonders to very few meaningful chances.

The hosts struggled to cope with Kotoko’s organization and intensity, particularly in midfield, where the visitors consistently won second balls and broke up play.

As Eleven Wonders pushed forward in search of an equaliser late on, spaces began to open up at the back.

Kotoko capitalised on it in the 89th minute when Johnson Oppong Owusu struck to seal the victory and put the result beyond doubt.

The win lifts Asante Kotoko to third place on the league table with 27 points after 15 matches, strengthening their title ambitions.

Eleven Wonders remain bottom with six points, as their difficult season continues.
