The Black Stars of Ghana have begun preparations for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola.

Eight players out of an expected 23 were present for the training at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The players who were present include Razak Simpson, Isaac Afful, Emmanuel Antwi, Gideon Mensah, Kudus Mohammed, Elisha Owusu, Joseph Wollacott, and Osman Bukari.

A majority of the squad is expected to join the second training session today, November 12, following a late arrival.

Unlike the first session, the second training is not open to the media as Otto Addo looks to intensify their routines ahead of the game.

According to the itinerary the Ghana Football Association announced, the team will depart Ghana on Wednesday.

The matchday five fixture against Angola is slated for November 15, 2024, in Luanda.
