The 2025 Tidal Rave Concert will be remembered for many reasons, but Shatta Wale’s unexpected act of generosity is one of the things that truly stole the spotlight on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

The Dancehall King, who was billed as the wildcard artist for this year’s edition, turned the whole event on its head the moment he stepped on stage.

Shatta Wale’s performance was nothing short of electrifying, with his fans and music lovers singing word-for-word to every hit he dropped.

But the biggest surprise came when he was nearing the end of his set.

Shatta Wale paused the music and called five young ladies from the crowd to join him on stage. These women, who had been seen cheering, singing along and displaying an obvious affection for his craft, were introduced as some of his die-hard fans.

After the introduction, Shatta Wale went down on his knees in front of each of the ladies, pulled out brand-new phones, and personally handed the gifts to them.

After gifting each lady her phone, he warmly embraced all five of them, holding them close in gratitude.

According to him, the act was his little way of showing that he truly values the people who have stood by him, regardless of the controversies, industry storms or shifting trends in Ghana’s music scene.
