During a routine vehicle stop, a police officer unexpectedly found himself caught between love and duty when he expressed interest in a female occupant of the car.

The woman, however, made it clear she was not fond of policemen and told the officer she would only consider being with him if he quit his job.

She boldly asked him to choose between his career and a relationship with her. When the officer questioned how they would survive without his salary, she responded, “I can take care of us.”

Still in disbelief, the officer asked what he would be doing at home. The woman replied, “You’ll be a stay-at-home husband,” which he quickly rejected, saying he couldn’t accept that role.

Trying to persuade him further, the woman’s friend joined the conversation, saying she had influential connections and could help him find a role in any department he desired.

“She’s a big woman who knows people and can make things happen for you,” the friend added.

The woman then told him, “Just leave the police for the rest.”

Her friend concluded by saying the officer looked like someone who deserved to enjoy life because “life is too short.”
