Nico and his brother, Iñaki Williams who notably represent Spain and Ghana respectively, recently made headlines after a video of them enjoying fufu surfaced, highlighting their Ghanaian roots. This time, Nico has taken the experience to his club.
In a video shared by the Spanish winger, his Athletic Club teammates, Adama Boiro and Álvaro Djaló who has been sidelined with an ankle injury are seen savoring the traditional meal.
Meanwhile, Athletic Club will travel to the RCDE Stadium to face Espanyol on Sunday, February 16, 2025, as they continue their pursuit of league leaders Real Madrid.
For Nico, the match marks his return to action after missing the last two games due to a muscle injury.
