Livestock traders have occupied a major road at Ngleshie Amanfro, a suburb of Accra, in the Ga South Municipality, Greater Accra Region.

A video shared by Citi FM on X on June 10, 2025, showed livestock grazing in the middle pavement of the road at the Ngleshie Amanfro bus stop.

The livestock traders, purportedly seeking to make sales, have unfortunately created a situation which causes an inconvenience to both private and commercial drivers, as well as pedestrians.

The video report captured the livestock, particularly sheep and cattle, tied to stumps to secure them on the median strip of the main road.

According to the Citi FM report, despite assurances from the Ga South Municipal Chief Executive, Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey that the animals would be removed from the site, the issue remains unresolved, leaving road users frustrated.

The presence of livestock traders at the bus stop continues to disrupt traffic flow and causes discomfort to residents and pedestrians who use that stretch.
