President-elect John Dramani Mahama
President-elect John Dramani Mahama, who won the December 7 general election, was recently seen enjoying roasted plantain with groundnuts in a viral social media video shared on December 10, 2024.
In the video, Mahama, dressed in white attire alongside some party executives, took a slice of plantain and passed it around for others to enjoy.
He mentioned that this food was a childhood favorite.
Following Mahama’s victory in the 2024 elections, some netizens have congratulated him.
Mahama emerged victorious after the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, announced the results on December 9, 2024.
Mahama secured a landslide victory over the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, with a total of 6,328,397 votes representing 56.55%, while Bawumia garnered 4,657,304 votes representing 41.61%.
