After months on the sidelines due to an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, Fatawu Issahaku has taken a significant step toward recovery with dedicated gym workouts.

The Leicester City forward is gradually rebuilding his strength and fitness, marking progress in his rehabilitation journey.

Issahaku sustained the ACL injury during Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola in November, unexpectedly curtailing his season.

However, the forward, who has been keeping fans updated on his recovery, recently shared a video on his Instagram page showcasing his intense gym workouts as he works to regain strength.

In the video, the former Sporting CP player is seen focused on a stationary bike exercise, displaying a joyous mood as he pushed through his workout.

Before his injury, the 21-year-old had become an integral part of Leicester’s quest for survival, contributing two assists in 11 Premier League appearances.

With only nine games remaining in the season, it remains uncertain whether Issahaku can recover in time to help Leicester mount a comeback and secure their place in the league for another season.
