The General Overseer of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, led his congregation through an intense prayer session on the pending December 7, 2024, general election.

Duncan-Williams’ powerful prayer session was particularly against people he claimed were planning to rig the elections again.

In the viral video of the prayer session, he is heard praying that God should strike down every person or group involved in the plot to steal the voice of the people of Ghana.

The archbishop went on to pray that God should give Ghana a leader who would have the interest of the country at heart and not those who have their personal or political party interests at heart.

“Any evil they are cooking through this election by anyone, through any means to carry it out, let it backfire. This time, let them be uncovered. This time, let it backfire. This time, let the angel of death oppose them. This time, put your hands together, pray that prayer right now. Oh, angel of death, go after them, strike them, oppose them, incapacitate them. And let them know that they are mortal men and that they are not God almighty.

“We need leaders who love this country more than themselves. We need people who love Ghana more than their political party. We have to specifically say, God, we want you to intervene in this election. We want you involved in this election. We want you to intervene. Step into the equation. Prove to men that you are God. We are deploying, we are daring you, we are summoning you to step in this election,” he prayed.

He added, “On that day, let their plans backfire. Let their keys and the weapons they are depending on, let them slip out of their hands, let them elude them… On that day, on that day, whatever their intentions and their plans are to carry out an evil, an evil, an evil, an evil, an evil plan.”
