Former Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew was spotted sharing a warm moment with his father, legendary Abedi Pelé, at Nania Park at the University of Ghana on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
In a video shared online, the former West Ham and Swansea City forward was seen having a lighthearted chat with his dad before leaning into him with a smile.
Moments later, the 35-year-old forward jogged onto the pitch to begin his training session, with Abedi watching on from the sidelines.
Ayew, who joined Le Havre AC in France’s Ligue 1 two seasons ago in 2023, left the club earlier this summer following the expiration of his short-term deal.

He is currently unattached and is working hard to maintain his fitness as he weighs his options ahead of the new campaign, with reports linking him to possible moves to Asia.
Training at Nania Park is a familiar ground for Ayew. The venue has long served as a fitness base for both current and former professionals, making his presence there unsurprising.
