Chelsea midfielder, Moises Caicedo, has been spotted attending a church service during his off-season break, in a heartwarming show of gratitude for his achievements over the past football year.

The Ecuador international, who played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s recent 2025 Club World Cup winning campaign, was captured on video thanking God for what many describe as a blessed season.

The footage, shared by SegmentoFutbol, shows Caicedo in a quiet and reflective moment, expressing his appreciation for how far he’s come in his career.

The 23-year-old has been enjoying his holidays back in Ecuador after a busy season in which he featured heavily for Chelsea, helping the club to silverware and ending the campaign as one of their standout performers.

Since joining Chelsea from Brighton in 2023 for a British-record transfer fee, Caicedo has cemented his place in the Blues’ midfield and become one of the most important players under manager Enzo Maresca.

He ended the 2024/25 season with a UEFA Conference League winners’ medal and was also part of the squad that lifted the FIFA Club World Cup in July.

With pre-season preparations set to resume in the coming weeks, Caicedo is expected to return to Stamford Bridge refreshed and ready for what promises to be another demanding campaign in Chelsea colours.
