    Black Stars winger, Antoine Semenyo announced himself to fans for the new Premier League season in a spectacular form after scoring twice against Liverpool on the opening day of the 2025/2026 season.

    Antoine Semenyo gave Bournemouth a life line at Anfield on the evening of Friday, August 15, 2025, after they had gone down 2-0 in the first 50 minute of the game but the Cherries couldn’t handle the pressure from Liverpool.

    The Ghanaian scored two brilliant goals in the 64th and 76th minute to cancel Hugo Ekitike and Coddy Gakpo’s goals but the home team still managed to win the game with two late goals.

    Federico Chiesa came from the bench to join forces with Mohammed Sallah to score two additional goals thus winning the game for Liverpool in a commanding ways.

    Antoine Semenyo has now become the first visiting player to score a brace at Anfield against Liverpool since September 2022.
