Head coach of the national U-17 side, the Black Starlets, Prosper Narteh Ogum is expected to rally his players to bounce back strongly in a must-win game against the Ménas of Niger tomorrow to keep alive their dreams of progressing in the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Coach Ogum’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the host nation in their second Group A game last Tuesday after playing out a 1-1 draw three days earlier.

With only one point from two games, the Black Starlets must secure all three points against the Nigerien, who are second on the log after they defeated Togo 3-1 in their second game, to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.

Coach Ogum will hope Côte d’Ivoire will do them a big favour by defeating Togo in the other Group A fixture to see them through.
