Vice President of Ghana, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang represents Ghana at the 2025 Global Gateway Forum in Brussels, Belgium. The forum, a flagship event organized by the European Union (EU), brings together global leaders, business executives, and civil society representatives to explore strategic partnerships in an increasingly multipolar world.

The two-day forum, scheduled for October 9-10, focuses on strengthening global connectivity amid growing geopolitical and geo-economic challenges.

The Global Gateway initiative, the EU’s strategic framework, aims to promote smart, clean, and secure connections in digital, energy, and transport sectors while supporting health, education, and research systems globally.

Through this initiative, the European Union seeks to mobilize up to €300 billion in investments to drive sustainable development and resilience across partner regions. Vice President Opoku-Agyemang’s participation underscores Ghana’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and promoting sustainable development.
