Volta Caucus Contests Mahama’s Support for Bagbin as Speaker

The Caucus opposes the concept of two Northerners holding the Speakership and Presidency at the same time, citing concerns about regional leadership balance. As their favored candidate for Speaker, the Volta Caucus has nominated Voltarian Edward Korbly Doe Adjaho. Their demand for fair regional representation at the highest levels of government is reflected in this decision.
