Estonian second-tier club Viimsi JK have announced the signing of two Ghanaian teenagers, Emmanuel Agyemang and Latif Aziz, from Young African Promises FC as part of efforts to strengthen their squad for the ongoing campaign.
Agyemang, an 18-year-old striker, and 19-year-old midfielder Aziz were unveiled by the club on social media, with the duo described as versatile prospects capable of contributing across multiple positions. Their arrival is seen as a strategic move by Viimsi to inject youthful energy and technical quality into the team.
The club, which competes in Esiliiga, is aiming to improve it’s standing this season, and management believes the Ghanaian pair can play a key role in that ambition.
Both players developed at Young African Promises FC, an academy known for nurturing emerging talent, and will now get their first experience of European football in Estonia.
Their transfer also highlights the growing pathway for young Ghanaian players seeking opportunities abroad, particularly in competitive European leagues.
