Ghanaian counsellor and motivational speaker Charlotte Oduro has finally broken her silence following her highly publicized divorce from Apostle Solomon Oduro.
Speaking at the recent Women Unleashed Conference in a video obtained by zionfelix.net, Charlotte Oduro being her usual assertive self made it clear that she is not here to bow to societal norms or religious expectations that often silence women after a failed marriage.
She told her critics, the church, and especially to women around her at the time she was making her remarks who are grappling with the pain and stigma of marital breakdown to move on.
In her own words, she said: “I’m a woman who will stand firm in who I am, and I still preach. I don’t give a heck who is against me. I didn’t die—I’m alive. ”
She also stated that she is happy that she didn’t allow the divorce to destroy her life as she continues to live her dreams even though society might not accept her now.
“I’m a testimony for women who didn’t allow society and the church to destroy them. They may not accept you now, but with time, they will celebrate you,” she said.

The divorce marks the end of a 16-year marriage that had been strained for several years.
According to earlier reports, Charlotte Oduro left the matrimonial home more than six times during their union due to unresolved issues, particularly communication problems that left her feeling unsettled and emotionally drained.
However, Apostle Solomon Oduro officially confirmed the divorce in early 2025, stating that the couple had been separated for three years and citing irreconcilable differences as the main cause of the split.
