Ghanaian music star Black Sherif gave popular actor and television host Akrobeto a pleasant surprise when he made an unexpected appearance on The Real News on UTV on Friday, September 26, 2026.
The surprise visit formed part of Black Sherif’s activities to promote his latest EP, SUN SHERIF, a six-track project which has been receiving attention since its release earlier this month.
The EP features songs including “Expresso,” “Run Around,” “Forever” featuring AratheJay, “Jolie,” “Frontline” and “Love Again” featuring Full Blown.

Akrobeto could not hide his surprise when Black Sherif appeared on the set, with the veteran actor repeatedly calling on his director as he tried to take in the unexpected presence of the musician.
The moment quickly turned into one of the entertaining highlights of the programme as Akrobeto proceeded to do what he is popularly known for, leaving Black Sherif struggling to contain his laughter.
The musician was visibly amused by Akrobeto’s antics as the two shared a lighthearted moment on the show.
Black Sherif on his part also added a beautiful touch to the encounter by singing some of the songs from his Sun Sherif EP for Akrobeto.
Well, it should be noted that currently the EP has begun making an impact on the charts, with “Jolie” entering the UK Official Afrobeats Chart, while the entire body of work is also attracting attention across Ghana’s music scene.
