Popular Ghanaian actress and producer, Vivian Jill Lawrence, has finally spoken out about the rampant unauthorized use of her Abrewa Mafia content by TikTok users.

In an exclusive chat with Papa Jay of Poleeno Multimedia, while on a movie set with stars like Lilwin, Spendylove, and others, Vivian revealed that her team has launched a serious clampdown on the misuse of her intellectual property.

According to her, the move became necessary after they realized that some users were uploading full episodes of Abrewa Mafia onto their TikTok pages.

“It was affecting the revenue we’re supposed to get from YouTube, where we officially upload our content,” she explained.

The philanthropist disclosed that her team has developed a systematic approach to deal with the issue. “What we do now is to first DM the accounts and ask them to take the videos down. If they ignore us, then we go ahead and report the account,” she said.

So far, the actress confirmed that 19 TikTok accounts have already been taken down due to non-compliance.

She emphasized that while they appreciate the love and support from fans, it’s important that people respect content ownership and support the original platforms to help sustain the hard work of filmmakers and actors.
