Ghanaian actress and socialite Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has responded to growing online speculation regarding the brand-new Mitsubishi car she received following the birth of her daughter.

Akuapem Poloo, who welcomed her baby girl on Sunday, March 16, 2025, was recently seen beaming with joy as she posed with the new car gifted to her by her partner.

Exclusive photos obtained by Zionfelix.net captured the actress holding the car key up to the camera, her face lit with excitement and laughter.

However, after the reports and photos went viral, many social media users began raising doubts about the authenticity of the gift.

Critics quickly referred to a 2022 confession Akuapem Poloo made during her appearance on the popular Delay Show, where she admitted to borrowing a friend’s car and posing with it for public attention.

That incident has clearly made some people skeptical about the latest car announcement, with allegations surfacing that this might be another publicity stunt.

In response to the swirling rumors, Akuapem Poloo has come out to set the record straight.

In a phone interview with Zionfelix, she firmly dismissed the claims and clarified the situation.

To paraphrase what she said, ‘This is not a stunt, this car is truly a gift from my baby daddy. I was so happy and overwhelmed because I really appreciate every little thing people do for me, and this is not small at all.’

The social media sensation also emphasized that her joy was genuine and that her public display of gratitude should not be mistaken for clout-chasing.
