Kumawood actor and entrepreneur, Kwaku Manu has sparked a heated conversation about the state of unity within the Ghanaian movie industry.
His revelations comes after the funeral of popular actor and skit maker, C Confion, which was held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Buokrom Park in Kumasi.
The funeral attracted several celebrities and industry personalities, whose presence and interactions led many fans to believe that love had returned to Kumawood.
However, Kwaku Manu has debunked this perception, claiming the appearances were nothing more than a facade.
In an interview on Fakye Showbiz, Manu lamented the lack of genuine unity among actors. “We are workers, not friends. When we are done working, everyone has their own circle. You are only seeing us smiling and interacting like this because someone is dead,” he stated bluntly.
