The Holy Spirit Cathedral Catholic Church at Ridge in the Greater Accra Region has today, Saturday, March 8, 2025, been the venue for the pre- burial service of Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr, the late father of Ghanaian actor and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo.

The church has seen family, friends, and sympathizers gathered to show their last respect to the late engineer.

The pre-burial service has the attendees clad in dignified white and black attires, a traditional expression of both mourning and the celebration of a life well-lived.

John Dumelo, standing tall yet visibly heartbroken, was flanked by close family members as they paid their last respects to the man he had often described as his “best friend” and “number one cheerleader.”

The late Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr passed away at the age of 75, a tragedy John Dumelo announced on January 4, 2025, just weeks after he won that historic parliamentary election.
