Ghanaian actor Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, popularly known as Oteele, has opened up about the tangible rewards he has reaped from his acting career, which he humorously refers to as “fooling.”

In an interview with Ruthy of Sean City TV, the Kumawood actor and comedian shared an impressive list of properties and accomplishments he has attained through his journey in the entertainment industry.

According to Oteele, his acting career has enabled him to acquire a five-bedroom house, a car, and two plots of land.

Beyond these personal assets, he also disclosed that he has been able to establish a small orphanage that currently houses about 30 children. “Most of these children are orphans. I take care of them, those who want to go to school, I send them to school. Those who prefer learning a trade are supported to do so,” Oteele stated.

In addition to providing shelter and education, Oteele mentioned that many of the children under his care have a natural talent for dancing.

To nurture their talent, he has also formed the Oteele Dance Crew (ODC), which allows the children to showcase their skills and stay engaged in positive activities.

Aside from the physical and philanthropic accomplishments, Oteele proudly revealed that his acting career also played a major role in helping him settle down. “It’s through acting that I was able to marry a very beautiful woman,” he said with a smile.

He stressed that this marriage has blessed him with four children.
