Popular Kumawood actor Collins Oteng, widely known by fans as Okomfo Kolege, has been left shattered after losing his mother.

The actor, who was still piecing his life back together after the death of his pregnant wife and unborn child in 2022, found himself once again in the grip of grief when news of his mother’s passing broke on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

After the announcement was made via social media, friends, family, and industry colleagues began trooping to Kolege’s family home to express their condolences.

As these individuals made their way to the house, Kolege, who happens to be a man known for bringing laughter to others, was seen crying bitterly, as he mourned the woman who raised him.

Among the first to visit were some of his closest colleagues in the industry, including Osoode, Nana Topkay, and several others from the Kumawood fraternity.

They stars arrived to console him and stand by him in this fragile moment.
