A viral video of the Minority Leader of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has surfaced, showing him engaged in boxing training.

In the video, the leader is seen wearing sparring gloves at what appears to be a gym, delivering powerful punches to a punching bag/sandbag.

After intense training, he appears slightly exhausted and is seen panting for breath. A man, believed to be his trainer, then approaches him and removes his gloves.

The video has been widely circulated amidst recent tensions in Ghana’s Parliament, where two physical altercations have occurred between Minority and Majority MPs over the vetting of President John Dramani Mahama’s appointees.

As a result of the clashes, Speaker of Parliament Alban Sumana Bagbin has suspended four MPs after they damaged tables and microphones during the vetting process.
