    Popular Ghanaian actor and comedian Dr. Likee, also known as Akabenezer, has opened up about the incredible transformation acting has brought into his life.

    Speaking in an interview with Mike Two on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall program ahead of the mega premiere of their new movie titled “Elubo” , the Kumawood star confessed that his movie career has been nothing short of a lifesaver.

    According to Dr. Likee, whose real name is Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, acting has given him opportunities he never imagined while growing up.

    He noted that before rising to fame, life was extremely difficult and his dreams were limited by his financial struggles.

    He shared that as a young man, his biggest ambition was to travel to Libya, believing it would be a stepping stone to a better life. However, no matter how hard he tried, he was never able to raise enough money to embark on that journey.

    He added that things, however, took a dramatic turn when he entered the movie industry. Dr. Likee said that through his acting career, he has now travelled to many European countries, something he never envisioned as a young man. “Through acting, I have travelled to many countries in Europe,” he stated.

    In very simple terms, he described his career in the movie industry as a total life changer.
