Across the world, many creatives silently endure struggles hidden behind the glitz and glamour of their careers.

While they are celebrated for their talent and admired for their lifestyles, the reality is that many go through lonely moments, emotional battles, and the pressure of constantly having to meet public expectations.

The demand to always appear strong, happy, and perfect often leaves little room for them to show their true selves.

This reality was echoed by Ghanaian musician Sefadzi Abena Amesu, popular known as S3fa, who recently broke down in tears during an interview on the Not Me podcast.

The singer sadly opened up about her personal struggles in the past few months, admitting that being in the spotlight sometimes feels overwhelmingly lonely.

She mentioned that there are a lot of eyes on creatives and as such, mostly they can’t really be true to themselves.

The “E Choke” hitmaker recalled moments when she had to perform with energy and smiles, only to return home and break down in tears on her mother’s shoulder.

S3fa further revealed that fans and the public only get to see a small portion of who creatives really are. “What we show out there is just about 40% of our real life and the things we go through,” she said.
