Sarkodie has received the royal blessing of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, ahead of his much-anticipated Rapperholic Concert slated for September 27, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
During a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace on July 18, 2025, Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo, officially informed His Majesty about his decision to bring the prestigious Rapperholic brand to Kumasi for the first time in the concert’s 12-year history.

After his revelation, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II announced his intention to personally attend the concert this year.
The Asantehene mentioned that he feels it will not be wrong if he is there himself this year to also enjoy the show abd commended Sarkodie for his consistency and humility and encouraged him to maintain these values as he continues to soar in his career.
