Ghanaian actress, Bibi Bibi, has shared her story of the menial business she ventured into.

Despite her status as a popular actress, Bibi did not shy away from selling fufu and konkonte.

Tagging herself as a problem solver, Bibi Bright’s decision to sell these local foods was due to how some mechanics in her area were struggling to get food to buy.

According to her, there was one kenkey seller in the area—but after the kenkey finished, the mechanics found it difficult to get food to buy.

After thinking about this challenge for some time, Bibi decided to sell fufu and konkonte in the area.

She recalled her father was worried about her new business due to her status as an actress.

With the help of two other ladies she employed, Bibi Bright said the business became successful.

The actress revealed that she was able to save about GHS 300 to GHS 500 daily from her food business.

Bibi Bright shared this during the ‘After School, What’s Next?” Summit which was organized by Ghana Tertiary Awards and attended by some students.
