Award-winning Ghanaian actress, Gloria Osei Sarfo, has officially become the sole brand ambassador for Bills Micro-Credit Limited, a prominent microfinance institution in Ghana that has been in operation for over 15 years.

The announcement was made during a special event in Accra, where executives of the company described the partnership as a move towards deepening its connection with the communities it serves.

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Gloria Sarfo appeared on UTV’s United Showbiz show, hosted by Ola Michael, where she provided insight into her new role.

During the live broadcast, she expressed her enthusiasm and sense of responsibility as the face of the brand.

“Even though Bills Micro-Credit has been in business for more than 15 years, my role is to enhance the visibility of the brand and bring it closer to the people,” she shared.

She also took the opportunity to address some of the negative reportage that has surfaced about the company in recent times.

She tried her best to clear the air on the various reports about harassment meted out to people who own the company by its employees and reaffirmed the credibility and impact of Bills Micro-Credit.

Gloria Sarfo, known for her memorable role as Nana Ama in Efiewura and her award-winning performances in film, has been in the entertainment industry since the mid-2000s.

Her accolades include Best Supporting Actress at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and Actress of the Year at the 2021 Women’s Choice Awards.

Her appointment as brand ambassador comes with a focus on promoting Bills Micro-Credit’s range of financial solutions, particularly those aimed at youth empowerment and socially driven initiatives.
