Ghanaian rapper King Paluta has responded strongly to recent comments made by media personality DJ Slim, who claimed that the rapper did not deserve a Telecel Ghana Music Award (TGMA) because he failed to promote his category.

But during an interview on Entertainment Power on Nhyira FM, King Paluta didn’t hold back. He described DJ Slim’s remarks as “loose talk,” adding that the comment was unfair and baseless.

“DJ Slim messed up with that comment,” Paluta said. “It was loose talk. You can’t discredit someone’s hard work and success over category promotion.”

Despite his disappointment, King Paluta took the high road, saying he holds no grudges.

“I’ve forgiven him,” he added. “We all make mistakes, and life must go on.”

Fans and industry watchers have applauded King Paluta for his maturity and calm handling of the issue.

With hit songs like Aseda, FOKO, etc. continuing to dominate the airwaves, King Paluta is clearly focused on the bigger picture—growing his brand and making lasting impact in Ghana’s music scene.
