Ghanaian actress and media personality Xandy Kamel has lashed out at a netizen identified as Hannah Asiedu after what she described as persistent online bullying and body-shaming.
According to Xandy, she has endured repeated attacks about her appearance and particularly her stomach, but the recent incident have pushed her to her limit.
The latest controversy follows a video Hannah Asiedu made to mock Xandy’s appearance after she attended the funeral of late actress Beverly Afaglo on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The video she shared on her social media pages angered Xandy, who had already been expressing frustration over the constant attacks on her body.
Before directing her anger at Hannah, Xandy took to her Facebook wall and stated that she was tired of being bullied and disclosed that the situation was becoming so overwhelming that she might take her own life.
The actress later took to TikTok live on Monday, August 10, where she unleashed curses on Hannah, invoking some traditional gods against her.
In an outburst, Xandy said that even people who would attempt to get Hannah medicine when she falls sick, as well as those who would help provide her coffin, should also suffer the same fate.
Xandy’s reaction comes after years of dealing with comments about her body. She has previously spoken publicly about the pain caused by people constantly focusing on her stomach and appearance.
What appears to have made the latest situation even more painful for Xandy is her claim that she has not been involving herself in online fights or talking about other people, yet she continues to receive attacks.
She therefore questioned why she should continue to be subjected to such treatment when she has chosen to stay in her own lane.
