    Veteran Nollywood actress Ajoke Silva Jacobs, the wife of Nollywood legend Olu Jacobs, took to Instagram to pray for her husband as he turns 83 today.

    The actress shared a heartwarming message, along with a video showing images of Olu Jacobs through the years.

    She wrote,

    “The one and only Sir J dee J @_olujacobs …we met when you were 38 and today by God’s wonderfull Grace you are …83…🎺🎺🎺🎺God be PRAISED!!!

    For all the Joy and laughter,some tears and sorrow along the way we bless the Lord Almighty for guiding you through each day.🎵🎶🎵🎶

    💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾The Wisdom etched upon your face a testament to a life embraced.🎊🎊🎊..

    I ask for peace in these twilight years. May the Lord keep your spirit strong free from all fears. May he hold you close within His care. 🎊🎊🎊🎊🥳🥳🥳🥳🎈🎈🎈🎈Happy birthday my darling💝🥂”

    The iconic couple who got married in 1989, have been together for close to 4 decades now, and despite the difficulties that they have faced, have managed to stay together through it all.

    Even with Olu Jacobs’ declining health, Joke Silva has stayed true to her marriage vows, loving him in sickness and in health.

    Their bond has always been an inspiration to many who have prayed to have a marriage as long-lasting and loving as theirs.

    The celebration of Olu Jacobs’ 83rd birthday by Joke Silva serves as a reminder of how far the legendary Nollywood couple has come and how strong her love for her husband still is.

    Family, friends, colleagues, and many others have also sent their congratulations to the actor and his wife, praying for their happiness and health.
