    Renowned Ghanaian actor William Addo widely known as Akpatse has sadly been reportedly dad.

    Zionfelix.net gathered this unfortunate news from multiple online sources, including Adomonline and Citionline.

    The veteran actor reportedly died on 22nd November 2025 after battling prolonged health complications.

    William Addo’s is one more actors who did great for themselves with their craft on the screens during the decades they worked.

    He made a lot of remarkable impact as an actor, lecturer, director, and cultural advocate.

    He rose to national fame through his unforgettable performances on GTV’s Thursday Theatre and many other productions.

    Mr. William Addo is known to have studied Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Ghana before furthering his education in the United Kingdom, where he earned a master’s degree in Acting and Directing from the University of Leeds.

    Throughout his career, he served in several leadership roles, including Director at the National Theatre and Director of Programmes at the National Commission on Culture. He also lectured at the Theatre Arts Department, shaping and mentoring countless actors and creatives who would go on to become pillars of Ghana’s creative industry.

    In his later years, William Addo suffered severe visual impairment due to glaucoma and cataracts. This challenge drew support from various groups and individuals, including the welfare unit of the Actors Guild, who stepped in to assist him during those difficult times.
