Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey, has earned widespread praises from fans after tactfully addressing rumours of internal tensions in the Black Stars camp over the team’s captaincy.

In an era where controversies often spiral out of control, Partey’s composed and mature approach has struck a chord with many supporters.

During an interview with 3Sports, the Arsenal star was asked about the so-called unrest surrounding the leadership of the national team.

This topic has been the subject of heated speculation on social media and in the traditional press.

But Partey was quick to shut down the noise, denying any internal issues.

“When we switch from one captain to another to the next, it has to be smooth. I don’t know where the fight is coming from. I think it is from the outside.

In the team, we don’t talk about any player and captaincy. The problem is from outside not inside,” Partey said.

Though Partey didn’t lash out or point fingers, his calm and measured response was enough to earn plaudits across social media platforms.

Partey’s approach appears to have cooled the temperature around a debate that was threatening to overshadow Ghana’s preparations ahead of crucial international assignments.

Whether or not he wears the armband, many fans now believe Partey is playing the role of a silent captain, leading not just with his feet, but with wisdom.
