Veekee James sparks debate after urging women to support their families financially, and not to rely solely on their husbands (WATCH)

Fashion designer Veekee James has stirred public conversation following remarks she made at a recent conference, where she emphasized the importance of financial responsibility and hard work among women.

Speaking to a gathering of women, Veekee James said a good wife should not wait around for her husband’s money, but should instead contribute actively to the well-being of her home.

According to her, a woman who embodies these values feeds her home through her own efforts, highlighting self-reliance and diligence as key qualities that strengthen a family.

She also noted that women should be willing to support their households financially, especially when building a family or business with their partner.

Veekee James also encouraged women to engage more closely with their spouses regarding their professional ambitions.

“What do you want me to do? How do you want me to start?” She described this collaborative approach as an important attribute of a supportive and forward-thinking wife.
