    A controversial student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, who went viral for assaulting a lecturer, has been expelled from the institution.

    The information which was revealed by the management of the tertiary institution ordered the student to vacate the university premises immediately.

    Recall that a student who has been identified as Precious Goody-Mbakwe had gone viral for assaulting a lecturer for interrupting her TikTok live video.

    Reacting to this, The Nnamdi Azikiwe University disciplinary committee, after having a meeting, has agreed to expel her from the institution over her behavior.

    They declared that the expulsion begins immediately, and the student is expected to vacate the university premises after returning any university property in her possession.

    The letter contained the following;

    “EXPULSION FROM NNAMDIN AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY

    The Ag. Vice Chancellor has received the report from the Student Disciplinary Committee on the case of your assault on a lecturer from the Department of Theater and Film Studies, which was found to be a gross misconduct and violation of the Students Disciplinary Regulations particularly Regulation 4 (SDR).

    Consequently, the Ag. Vice Chancellor has, on behalf of the University Senate, approved the Committee’s recommendation that you be expelled and you are hereby expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

    The expulsion takes immediate effect.

    You are expected to vacate the University premises immediately and return any University property in your possession.”
